OxyGeneo Super Facial Pre-Care Instructions
To achieve the best results and prevent irritation, please follow these guidelines before your treatment:
1–2 Weeks Before
Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least 7 days prior. (Sunburned skin cannot be treated.)
Discontinue use of strong topical medications such as Retin-A, Tazorac, or other retinoids at least 5–7 days before your appointment.
Avoid chemical peels, laser treatments, or waxing/threading on the treatment area for at least 7 days prior.
If you are prone to cold sores, please inform your provider — preventative medication may be recommended.
24–48 Hours Before
Do not use products containing AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, or vitamin C serums on the treatment area.
Avoid heavy exfoliation at home.
Refrain from applying thick oils or occlusive creams that could clog pores.
Day of Treatment
Arrive with a clean face (no makeup, lotions, perfume, or sunscreen if possible).
Stay well-hydrated by drinking water before your appointment.
If you have open wounds, skin infections, or active cystic acne, your treatment may need to be rescheduled.
OxyGeneo Super Facial Post-Care Instructions
You may notice your skin feels refreshed, smooth, and radiant immediately after your OxyGeneo Super Facial. Mild redness is normal and typically subsides within a few hours.
First 24 Hours
Avoid touching, picking, or scratching the treated skin.
Skip heavy makeup; if needed, use only light, mineral-based makeup after 12 hours.
Avoid excessive heat, including saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms, or hot yoga.
Do not swim in chlorinated pools or salt water.
Refrain from vigorous exercise that causes heavy sweating for 12–24 hours.
2–3 Days After
Do not use retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, or other strong actives until your skin feels fully calm.
Stick to a gentle cleanser, hydrating moisturizer, and SPF.
Avoid facial waxing, peels, or additional exfoliating treatments.
Maximizing Results
Stay well-hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
For optimal results, schedule a series of 4–6 treatments spaced 2–4 weeks apart, then maintain with monthly sessions.
